Expanding Pediatric Healthcare Across Alaska—Our Outreach Mission

At Alaska Children’s Urgent Care and Outreach, we believe that every child—regardless of where they live—deserves access to expert pediatric medical care. Our Outreach Program is dedicated to bridging the healthcare gap for children in remote, rural, and underserved communities throughout Alaska.
Why Our Outreach Program Matters
Many families in Alaska live hundreds of miles from the nearest pediatric clinic, making it challenging to access timely and specialized care. Our outreach initiative brings healthcare directly to these communities, ensuring that no child is left without the medical attention they need.
How We’re Expanding Access to Care
Monthly In-Person Clinics – Starting in June 2025, we will travel to rural areas to provide preventive care, urgent care, and health screenings for children who lack easy access to medical services.
Telemedicine Services – For families who cannot visit in person, we offer virtual pediatric consultations, making it easier than ever to connect with our medical team from anywhere in Alaska.
School-Based Healthcare – We collaborate with school nurses to provide on-site telemedicine visits during school hours, ensuring students receive immediate medical care without missing class.
Community Partnerships – We work alongside local leaders, educators, and healthcare providers to develop tailored healthcare solutions for each community’s unique needs.
