What Is Pediatric Telehealth?

Pediatric telehealth is a video visit between you, your child, and a board-certified pediatric provider conducted over a secure video connection from your home or anywhere in Alaska. In a single visit, your provider can assess your child, make a diagnosis, create a treatment plan, and send a prescription directly to your pharmacy.


At Alaska Children’s Urgent Care and Outreach, our online pediatric providers in Alaska are specialists, not general practitioners. Every provider on our telemedicine team is trained specifically in the care of newborns through adolescents. You get the same level of expertise as an in-office visit, without leaving the house, without a waiting room, and without downloading an app. All you need is a device with a camera and an internet connection.
